THE EUROPEAN LEADER IN SUSTAINABLE TEXTILE INNOVATIONS

Durable filter media for the clarification of liquids.

Objective

The objective of the CLARIFIL project is to develop alternatives to conventional filtration adjuvants using biosourced polymer (RILSAN®). Likewise for microfiltration membranes by offering nonwoven fibrous media composed of a porosity greater than 60% with sub-micron filaments, in order to propose a more sustainable filtration (economically and ecologically). This alternative was designed for the needs of the beverage application sectors (beer, fruit juice, sodas) and the water treatment sector.

Expertises

Prototyping of durable liquid filters (performance and service life) on its pilot lines of nonwoven melted track by the two-component Meltblown process.
