AUTONOTEX PROJECT

Project sponsored by Mulliez-Flory and Eminence. 9 M€, of which 4,4 were financed by the French government.

Washable, connected, wireless clothing with self-sufficient energy will protect professionals in high-risk jobs as well as medicalized patients.

The objective is to evolve work garments and medical bedding to become reactive, autonomous and connected to the immediate environment. The collaboration and synergy of the project’s partners will create a connected textile network that includes textile, electronics and signal-processing industry professionals. The structure will be set up at an industrial level to incorporate research and innovation. Products targeted are professional garments (including undergarments), items made of knitted textiles and medical bedding. The project intends to make these articles reactive and connectable while the added value and ongoing innovation of their new functions will help perpetuate the network that has been created.
