Ecological antibacterial textiles without silver and hydro -/- oleorespellent textiles without fluoride for the construction and architecture market.
The Duratex project, funded under the INTERREG France-Wallonia-Flanders programme, aims to develop environmentally friendly anti-bacterial textiles without money and hydro textiles -/- fluorine-free repellents for the construction and architecture market.
Three approaches are being considered:
- deposition of nanofibres by a layer-by-layer process followed by chemical modification by connected hydrocarbon compounds,
- hybrid soil-gel
- that deposition via local dissolution-resecting by green solvents.
In addition, non-toxic bioproducts or biocides will be incorporated into coatings or fibres to achieve antibacterial properties.
Development and prototyping of mono- and bicomponent filaments with antibacterial properties with mass functionalization technique. Validation of formulations on the CETI compounding and wiring pilot line.
