Who we are – Working with industry to turn ideas into solutions

CETI is an industrial research and development centre dedicated to textile innovation.

We work alongside industrial players to secure, accelerate and industrialise the development of new materials, processes and products.

Our positioning is deliberately hybrid: combining scientific and technical expertise with a strong focus on industrial feasibility, risk reduction and time-to-market.

CETI supports projects ranging from early-stage product ideas to pre-industrial validation and industrial transfer, always with a tailor-made approach adapted to each client’s constraints and objectives.

What we do – From industrial challenges to operational solutions

CETI supports companies at every key stage of innovation and industrial development :

Translating industrial needs or product ideas into technically viable solutions

Securing developments through pilot-scale testing and proof of concept

Optimising materials, processes and products under industrial conditions

Supporting pre-production, scale-up and industrial transfer

Helping partners validate technologies, investments and market readiness

Supporting regulatory, normative and market constraints throughout product and process development

Our teams work closely with clients to build custom development pathways, combining expertise, platforms and external resources when required.

We support you throughout your entire product cycle.

Supporting the transition to bio-based products

We contribute to the development of bio-based textile solutions by:

  • Working with bio-based polymers and alternative feedstocks

  • Developing fibres, filaments, nonwovens and textile structures

  • Evaluating performance, durability and industrial viability

  • Supporting the scale-up of innovative bio-based materials

These two axes are addressed across all CETI’s Platforms and Services, ensuring coherence between material innovation, processing and end-use performance.

Developing solutions for textile circularity

We support the transition toward a circular textile industry by developing and validating solutions based on:

  • Mechanical, thermomechanical and chemical recycling routes

  • Incorporation of recycled raw materials into new products

  • Design of materials and products compatible with recycling loops

  • Valorisation of complex waste streams and recycling by-products
